I have brought these chocolates a couple of times as gifts, however I'd never tasted them, so I got a box for family, and we had a taste test on them all, none of us liked the coffee tho, however on the whole, nice chocolates, well presented box, good size chocolates

Beautifully presented box of delicious chocolates. Bravo to Holdsworth for not using cheap and nasty palm oil. After stringent QA testing by me, I can recommend these as a very good, tasty selection with white, milk and dark chocolates. There is the odd one I'm not so fussed on such as white chocolate truffles but there were willing helpers here. The strawberry and marc de champagne was my favourite and the espresso martini was intense (leave that hard, coffee bean off and swap it for a chocolate bean and that would have been no.1). There was enough of a selection to keep looking at the chocolate guide and facing a bit of indecision before plunging in. A good sign and well received. Will buy again.

Fancied a change this year to my normal Hotel Chocolate purchase. Bought two boxes of these ‘luxury’ chocolates as Christmas gifts for my husband and son. Like other reviews and photos I have seen and read since my purchase, when the chocolates were opened on Christmas Day they were both a melted mess to the point where it was difficult to distinguish which chocolate was which. Both boxes were inedible and went in the bin, a total waste of money. I will definitely be returning back to Hotel Chocolat next year.

The media could not be loaded. Not sure on taste as got this for a present. The packaging though is stunning and definitely gift able, not a huge box but just perfect as looks like there are 16 chocolates inside. I think it’s great value for money while it is on offer, without trying the taste can’t comment on that part.
